Is your child getting enough?

Almost all failure in school is caused by lack of sleep.  Start off the new year right by setting a bedtime and sticking to it.  Limit caffeine and make sure cell phones are left outside the bedroom.  Check to make sure TV's and computers are off and stay off.

How much is enough?

According to experts, here are the  recommended sleep amounts per grade level:

PreK - K:  11 - 13 hours
Grades 1 - 5:  10 - 11 hours
Grades 6 - 12:  9 - 10 hours
