Summer Reading Events
Plans have been made for our big summer reading events. Some of them are surprises (so I can't list them here!), but they all promise to be great fun and relate to summer reading books!
Homecoming Parade - September 19
Title I will once again have a float in the parade. Last year the Cat in the Hat, Thing One, and Thing Two rode with us. This year we will once again have special guests appearing. Be sure to smile and wave as we go by!
Old Timey Day - October 24
Second graders will celebrate Old Timey Day with some old time music and dancing.
Reader's Theater Festival - November 17 - 24
Students at all grade levels will perform in the school auditorium to celebrate the storytelling tradition of the Cherokee people.
